Thank you to everyone who participated in our inaugural summer photo contest. This year, over the course of three months, we have gathered over 300 submissions! From gorgeous images of du Pont estates to stunning views of Wilmington’s Riverfront and famed Brandywine River, the photos captured by our visitors were truly inspiring. We loved getting to see #VisitWilm through their eyes.

Now, on to the moment everyone has been waiting for.

Drum roll please...

The Grand Prize Winner is: Robert Farmer

Robert Farmer submitted quite a few truly magical images from Greater Wilmington, Delaware - images from Hagley Museum, the Wilmington Riverfront, and Historic New Castle featuring the Kalmar Nyckel Tall Ship, just to name a few! But the one image that caught our eye as grand prize worthy was the image shown below of the Kalmar Nyckel docked at sunset in Historic New Castle, Delaware.
