Inspiring Equity: Principal Kafele's Keynote Address Ignites Christina

Our DEIB teams came together for a final professional learning session of the school year, marking the launch of their summer engagement plans to finalize site-based equity plans for the upcoming school year (SY25). The highlight of the afternoon was a keynote address by renowned Principal Kafele, whose message aligned with the goals of our DEIB teams and the overarching vision of our strategic plan, specifically Objective 4b: Ensuring Racial and Cultural Competency. As part of this inspiring event, held at Delaware School for the Deaf (DSD), Principal Kafele also participated in a book signing, and each DEIB team member received a copy of his influential book, "The Equity and Social Justice 50."
