Wilmington City Government Offices Will Be Closed On February 15 For Presidents Day; Trash Collection Schedule Is Modified

Wilmington City government offices will be closed on Monday, February 15, 2021, for the City’s observance of Presidents Day. As a result, the Department of Public Works’ Sanitation Division will collect trash on a modified holiday schedule:

• Monday, February 15: NO collection/City holiday
• Tuesday, February 16: East of I-95 trash collection
• Wednesday, February 17: West of I-95 trash collection

Recycling collections will occur as regularly scheduled next week, which is Thursday, February 18 for areas east of I-95 and on Friday, February 19 for areas west of I-95.
