Wilmington Community Center Schedule Changed Due To Renovations

Construction will continue for two weeks; only the gym and fitness center will be in open to the public until August 17

The Department of Parks and Recreation today released a modified operational schedule for the William “Hicks” Anderson Community Center, located at 501 North Madison Street in West Center City, due to ongoing building renovations. Beginning Monday, August 5 and continuing until Saturday, August 17, the center’s hours will be as follows:

• Monday through Thursday: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

• Friday: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

• Saturday: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Only the gym and the fitness center will open be to the public; no other rooms – including the pool – will be open during this time. Adult Flag Football on Monday evenings will continue as scheduled.
