Wilmington City government offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2017, for the Memorial Day holiday. As a result, the Department of Public Works’ Sanitation Division will collect recyclables on a modified holiday schedule:

- Monday, May 25: No trash collection
- Tuesday, May 26: East of I-95 trash collection
- Wednesday, May 27: West of I-95 trash collection
Collection of recyclables will continue as regularly scheduled on Thursday, May 28 for areas east of I-95 and on Friday, May 29 for areas west of I-95.
