This Is The Most Dangerous Intersection In DC: Report

A new report examining the most dangerous intersections in the District for pedestrians zeroed in on one in particular.

WASHINGTON, DC — As any pedestrian knows, D.C. can be a treacherous place to walk. And a new report has found what may be the most dangerous intersection in the city.

1Point21 Interactive, a California-based data visualization company, released a study on the most dangerous areas for pedestrians in D.C. and found that the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Benning Road in Northeast was the most dangerous place of all, with 10 collisions and 14 injuries between 2009 and 2015.

Overall, 5,291 pedestrian collisions were reported over that period in the District.
