• Pet Alliance marks five years since Orlando Shelter Fire and announces plans to Honor Cats Lost (gottagoorlando.com) — Pet Alliance is planning a special memorial at its Alafaya location to honor 17 cats lost in the 2021 Orlando shelter fire, with ashes incorporated into lasting tributes. Staff, volunteers, and local residents will eventually be able to visit these intimate spaces to reflect, as details are finalized and the organization moves forward in its new Orlando shelter era.
