Aventura-area resident wins national title at Fall North American Bridge Championships

Richard Coren of Aventura, Fla., claimed victory in the Reisinger Board-a-Match event at the Fall North American Bridge Championships (NABCs), one of the X championship-level events held in Orlando, Fla., from Nov. 24 to Dec. 4
This is Coren’s sixth NABC title. The Reisinger Board-a-Match team is pictured below (from left to right): ACBL president Ken Monzingo, Mike Kammil, Walid Elahmady, Richard Coren and Tarek Sadek.
The NABCs are held three times a year across the U.S. and Canada to bring together players of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, with opportunities for everyone to play daily from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The 2017 Spring NABCs will be held in Kansas City, Mo., from March 9 to 19.
