Video Shows Small Dog Being Kicked In Elevator
Keevonna Wilson is accused of repeatedly kicking her small dog in the elevator of her upscale waterfront condominium building.

AVENTURA, FL — A 24-year-old woman has been taken into custody after Aventura police obtained video of her repeatedly kicking her small dog in the elevator of her upscale waterfront condominium building. Keevonna Wilson was charged with animal cruelty in connection with the Sept. 20 attack. The incident took place at the Artech Residences of Aventura.
Sgt. Chris Goranitis of the Aventura Police Department said that Wilson's dog was removed by Miami-Dade Animal Services and given medical treatment.

Surveillance video released by police shows Wilson allegedly chasing the dog into a back corner of the elevator where she appeared to kick the animal about 10 times with her right leg. Wilson could then be seen allegedly following the frightened dog to the other corner of the elevator where she appeared to kick the animal at least five more times. Police said that Miami-Dade Animal Services is attempting to gain custody of the dog. Police did not identify the species of the dog or provide additional information on the animal.
