Miami Dade College

Miami Dade College's (MDC) Wolfson Campus will host its annual I AM MDC celebration, bringing together students, alumni and community members to celebrate the College's 66th anniversary and its impact. The event will feature remarks from MDC President Madeline Pumariega, City of Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins and MDC Foundation Board Chair Jorge Plasencia.
Wolfson Campus SGA President Kyulhee Kim will also share remarks before students, faculty and supporters come together to sing "Happy Birthday" to MDC and participate in a celebratory crowd photo. A DJ and campus activities will continue throughout the College's activity hour.
I AM MDC Celebrations raise funds to support scholarships, academic programs and student success initiatives, helping create opportunities for current and future MDC students. The Wolfson Campus celebration will also highlight the role of alumni and philanthropy in creating opportunities for the next generation of students.
Event hosted at MDC&nbsp;Wolfson Campus, Kyriakides Plaza from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Miami Dade College - Medical Campus

Miami Dade College's (MDC) Medical Campus will bring some friendly competition to its I AM MDC celebration as students, faculty and staff compete in a classic field day featuring an egg-and-spoon race, three-legged race and wheelbarrow race, culminating in a tug-of-war championship. 
Students and faculty representing the Medical Campus's healthcare programs will compete in teams. The event will also feature lawn games, music, food and a special birthday cake celebration marking MDC's 66th anniversary.
The field day is part of the I AM MDC Celebrations, Miami Dade College's annual event highlighting 66 years of changing lives through education. The initiative raises funds to support scholarships, academic programs and student success initiatives, helping create opportunities for current and future MDC students.Field Day Competition Start: 11:45 a.m. Birthday Cake Celebration: 12:30 p.m.Event will be held at the Medical Campus Atrium and end at 1 p.m.
