Chesterbrook Academy in Cooper City Celebrates Earth Day

Students celebrated by releasing ladybugs in their schoolyard and holding an Earth Day fashion show with outfits made of recycled materials

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Cooper City have caught the environmental bug! On April 20, students celebrated Earth Day and taking care of the planet by releasing thousands of ladybugs throughout the schoolyard and back into the environment on plants, flowers and trees. Immediately following the ladybug launch, students walked the runway in a fashion show and modeled outfits they made with recycled materials. Following the fashion show, students enjoyed juices and snacks made from veggies from the school’s garden. Chesterbrook Academy Preschool teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
