In order for the City of Aventura to prepare for its upcoming Movie Night and 26th Annual Founders Day celebration, the City will temporarily close parks and facilities to accommodate logistics on the days preceding and after those scheduled events.

Temporary closures will affect the following parks and facilities:
- Founders Park, 3105 N.E. 190 Street
- Waterways Park, 3301 N.E. 213 Street
- Community Recreation Center, 3375 N.E. 188 Street
The following closure schedule will be observed:

Saturday, October 30, 2021: Movie Night
- Founders Park: Open from 8:00 a.m. to noon
Tuesday, November 2, 2021: Founders Day Preparation
- Founders Park: Closed through Tuesday, November 9, reopen Wednesday Nov 10.
Sunday, November 7, 2021: 26th Annual Founders Day
- Waterways Park: Closed
- Community Recreation Center: Closed
