City Of Aventura: Westbound Ives Dairy Road To Close In Aventura In Preparation For Brightline Station

As per Brightline, the westbound lanes of Ives Dairy Rd./NE 203rd St. at the railroad crossing, just west of US-1/Biscayne Blvd. in Aventura, FL as well as two US-1/Biscayne Blvd. ramps to W. Ives Dairy Rd. will close the last weekend of October.

The work is in preparation for the new Brightline Aventura Station, which will be located on W. Dixie Hwy. across from the Aventura Mall. 

During this closure, US 1/Biscayne Blvd. traffic to westbound Ives Dairy Rd./NE 203rd St. will be detoured through E. Dixie Hwy and W. Dixie Hwy. Eastbound Ives Dairy Rd./NE 203rd St. will remain open. Detailed closure and detour information is below. Motorists proceed with extra caution through work zones and adhere to posted detour signs, speed limits and other signage.

Westbound Ives Dairy Rd./NE 203rd St. at US-1/Biscayne Blvd. and Railroad CrossingFull road closure, 10 a.m., Friday, October 29 to 5 a.m., Monday, November 1.Detour Information:

• Westbound Ives Dairy Rd./NE 203rd St. traffic will be directed to travel south on US-1/Biscayne Blvd. to NE 186th St./Miami Gardens Dr., travel west on NE 186th St./Miami Gardens Dr. to W. Dixie Hwy., travel north on W. Dixie Hwy., and continue straight to NE 26th Ave. to access westbound Ives Dairy Rd.

Northbound US-1/Biscayne Blvd. exit ramp to westbound Ives Dairy Rd./NE 203rd StFull ramp closure, 10 a.m., Friday, October 29 to 5 a.m., Monday, November 1.Detour Information:

• Northbound US-1 traffic wishing to continue west on Ives Dairy Rd. will be directed to travel past Ives Dairy Rd. to NE 208th St., travel west on NE 208th St. to E. Dixie Hwy., travel north on E. Dixie Hwy. to NE 215th St., travel west on NE 215th St. to W. Dixie Hwy. and travel south on W. Dixie Hwy. to access westbound Ives Dairy Rd.

Southbound US-1/Biscayne Blvd. exit ramp to westbound Ives Dairy Rd./NE 203rd StFull ramp closure, 10 a.m., Friday, October 29 to 5 a.m., Monday, November 1.Detour Information:

• Southbound US-1 traffic wishing to continue west on Ives Dairy Rd. will be directed to travel past Ives Dairy Rd. to NE 186th St./Miami Gardens Dr., travel west on NE 186th St./Miami Gardens Dr. to W. Dixie Hwy., travel north on W. Dixie Hwy., and continue straight to NE 26th Ave. to access westbound Ives Dairy Rd.
