Give Back in Fort Lauderdale: Winn-Dixie Floral Bouquet Program to Benefit Meals on Wheels South Florida This August

Plantation, FL (July 22, 2022) – This summer, give back in Fort Lauderdale with a simple purchase of a floral bouquet! Meals on Wheels South Florida has been selected by local Winn-Dixie store leadership as the benefiting non-profit in the Winn-Dixie Bloomin' 4 Good Program for the month of August 2022.

The Winn-Dixie Bloomin' 4 Good Program is designed to give back in local communities with every floral bouquet purchased. Every $12.99 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold supports a non-profit local to the Winn-Dixie in which it was purchased.

Meals on Wheels South Florida has been selected as the August beneficiary at the Winn-Dixie located at 1625 Cordova Road, Fort Lauderdale. As a result, Meals on Wheels South Florida will receive a $1 donation for every $12.99 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet purchased at this location in August.

Meals on Wheels South Florida Funding Statement

Meals on Wheels South Florida is funded under the Older Americans Act and Fair Share Dollars from local municipalities through the State of Florida's Department of Elder Affairs and The Area Agency on Aging of Broward County. The generous support from The Jim Moran Foundation, Jewish Federation of Broward, United Way of Broward, the Children's Services Council, the cities of Tamarac and Pompano and Private Donations allows us to provide meals and services to those in most immediate need who would otherwise be placed on the ever-growing waiting list for home-delivered meals.
