Give Back in Plantation: New Winn-Dixie Floral Bouquet Program to Benefit Meals on Wheels South Florida This December

Plantation, Fla. – (November 15, 2021) – Give back in Plantation this holiday season with a simple purchase of a floral bouquet! Meals on Wheels South Florida has been selected by local Winn-Dixie store leadership as the benefiting non-profit in the brand-new Winn-Dixie Bloomin' 4 Good Program for the month of December.

The Winn-Dixie Bloomin' 4 Good Program is designed to give back in local communities with every floral bouquet purchased. Every $12.99 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold supports a non-profit local to the Winn-Dixie in which it was purchased.

Every month, at every Winn-Dixie, a different local non-profit is selected to benefit from the sale of these special Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquets. Meals on Wheels South Florida was selected as the December beneficiary by local Winn-Dixie leadership at the store located at 901 North Nob Hill Road, Plantation. Meals on Wheels South Florida will receive a $1 donation for every $12.99 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet purchased at this Winn-Dixie location in December.

Meals on Wheels South Florida is funded under the Older Americans Act and Fair Share Dollars from local municipalities through the State of Florida's Department of Elder Affairs and The Area Agency on Aging of Broward County. The generous support from The Jim Moran Foundation, Jewish Federation of Broward, United Way of Broward, the Children's Services Council, the cities of Tamarac and Pompano and Private Donations allows us to provide meals and services to those in most immediate need who would otherwise be placed on the ever-growing waiting list for home-delivered meals.
