Meals on Wheels South Florida has been selected as a beneficiary of the Winn-Dixie Bloomin’ 4 Good Program for the month of October 2022.

The Winn-Dixie Bloomin’ 4 Good Program, which launched in October 2021, is an easy way for shoppers to give back to their local communities. Every $12.99 Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold supports a hunger organization local to the Winn-Dixie in which it was purchased.

Meals on Wheels South Florida was selected as the October 2022 beneficiary by local store leadership at the Winn-Dixie located at 901 North Nob Hill Road, Plantation. As a result, Meals on Wheels South Florida will receive a $1 donation for every $12.99 Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet purchased at this location.

Meals on Wheels South Florida is funded under the Older Americans Act and Fair Share Dollars from local municipalities through the State of Florida's Department of Elder Affairs and The Area Agency on Aging of Broward County. The generous support from The Jim Moran Foundation, Jewish Federation of Broward, United Way of Broward, the Children's Services Council, the cities of Tamarac and Pompano and Private Donations allows us to provide meals and services to those in most immediate need who would otherwise be placed on the ever-growing waiting list for home-delivered meals.
