Join Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) as a full-time bus operator. Bus operator trainees will earn $15.49 per hour and after successfully completing the training program, will earn $16.32 per hour to start, plus built-in overtime.

• High school diploma or GED
• Must possess proof of having passed the General Knowledge, Air-brake and Passenger Transport Testing of the CDL (All documents need to be CURRENT and VALID).
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts and locations as assigned.

• Background check
• Written exam -- be sure to check your PeopleSoft account for exam details
• Pre-employment physical exam
