Paladin Academy in Pembroke Pines Donates 300 Toys to Nonprofit

Students held a toy drive for The Pantry of Broward, Inc., which supports senior citizens and grandparents raising their grandchildren

Students at Paladin Academy in Pembroke Pines recently donated more than 300 toys to The Pantry of Broward, Inc., which transforms part of its warehouse into a toy store that grandparents are invited to visit and “go shopping” for gifts for their grandchildren every holiday season. To collect the donations, Paladin Academy hosted a drive-through toy drive on Dec. 11, during which students and their families dropped off a variety of gifts, including stuffed animals, games, coloring books, puzzles and more. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others in the community, especially during the holiday season.

The Pantry of Broward, Inc. serves Broward County seniors in need, as well as grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.
