A Student from The Sagemont School Flies Donations to the Bahamas

The Sagemont School partnered with The Rotary Club of Weston to fill a warehouse full of donations for Bahamians who were impacted

Students from The Sagemont School in Weston recently collected items to assist in Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in the Bahamas. An 11th grade student from The Sagemont School flew to the Bahamas to deliver the donated supplies. From Sept. 3-6, The Sagemont School partnered with The Rotary Club of Weston to hold a donation drive to collect power and construction supplies, pet supplies, personal care items, nonperishable food items, baby supplies, sleeping supplies and bottled water. In addition to the donations, students created cards to send well wishes to those affected. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others in need.
