Two-Week College Access Event Highlighting HBCUs Begins Jan. 19

Representatives from Historically Black Colleges and Universities will host free virtual sessions for Florida students and families.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools is collaborating with Broward County Public Schools, the
School District of Palm Beach County, and the School District of Osceola County
on a two-week college access event highlighting Historically Black Colleges and
Universities (HBCU). “All-In on HBCUs” will connect students and families from
across our state with information about the outstanding post-secondary
opportunities available at more than 30 HBCUs from across the country.

“All-In on HBCUs” will kick-off on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. with
an exciting and interactive virtual program celebrating these institutions. Between
January 19th and January 28th, representatives from participating HBCUs will schedule one-hour information sessions between 4:00-8:00 p.m. All sessions are free, virtual, and open to anyone who is interested in learning more about HBCUs.
