2 Arrested in Drive-By Shooting Attempt In Bloomingdale East
Two people have been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting that occurred in Bloomingdale East Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 4.
VALRICO, Fla. -- Two people have been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting that occurred in Bloomingdale East Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 4.
At 2:44 p.m., two people shot three rounds out of a vehicle at a person near 3816 Polumbo Drive in Bloomingdale East.
Deputies caught up with the accused shooters a short time later. Logan Hartwell, 22, of David Baker Road, Riverview, who was driving, was charged with second-degree attempted murder and direct discharge of a firearm from a vehicle. His 17-year-old passenger was charged with tampering with physical evidence for attempting to hide the gun.

According to the sheriff's office, Hartwell and the victim reportedly had an ongoing dispute for about a year.
