Need community service for school or a club this is a fast fun way to get 12 hours! 

24 Hours is a youth lead event designed to raise awareness to homeless youth as part of Global Youth Service Day. We have partnered with Youth Service America every year. This year Michelle Obama in the honorary chair for the Global event. The event will take place beginning Friday April 11th at noon and concludes April 12th at noon at Best Buy Brandon. Most kids check in between 3 and 6 because of school and parents are welcome to start picking up the kids after 9 am. During the event we will have homeless youth from Camelot speaking to the kids , representative of the Lazydays Homeless Youth program and myself. We will also show Little Red Wagon the movie do a lot of leadership games, activities, and put together backpacks that will go out to homeless youth.The cost of the event is $24 and this includes your T-Shirt (if registered by April 5th), dinner, breakfast, all snacks,water and entertainment. One of the best things I have noticed year after year is we have kids from all different schools, clubs, JROTC's, churches, some come as loners but by the end of the event it is all one big group, friendships have been made. It is amazing to see a group of kids who normal would not speak to each other come together for a common cause and have a great time doing it. 24 Hours is fun, educational, exciting all while helping raise much needed awareness to the over 1.6 million homeless youth in this country.Please share this information and attached flier with any kids you think may be interested. We give 12 community service hours for the event and for a lot of kids in need of those last minute hours it is a huge help.
