Services Set for Lawrence A. DeJoseph

Lawrence Anthony DeJoseph, 54, passed away on Tuesday, June 12. Born in Brooklyn, DeJoseph had been a Brandon resident since 2004. After his retirement from the New York City Police Department, DeJoseph worked for the Orange County Sheriff's Department in Orange County, N.Y., and then at Hillsborough Community College Security at the Brandon campus.

DeJoseph enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing.

The family will receive friends at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home on Saturday, June 16, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Serenity Meadow Memorial Park.
