Art Takes Centerstage at Bloomingdale High School
Students displays a variety of work from painting to sculptures.

A year's worth of hard work was on display recently at Bloomingdale High School when the art department held its student show.
The show combines drawing, painting and sculpture of entry-level Art 1 students through advanced Honors and Portfolio seniors. Parents and the public were invited in to view the show.

"This event is the art students' favorite time to showcase their work to their friends, teachers, parents and administrators," said art teacher Diana Speedy. " I'm really proud of the work my students have done. We have worked really hard this year to compete in 20 art events! This includes: High school student shows, congressional shows, Artist in the schools, poster contests, online competitions,Celebrating Art national online competition - 9 students work accepted for publication!
