Bloomingdale Soccer's Oser Signs for Stetson
The Lady Bulls soccer team watched as one of its best defenders signed on to play her college soccer at Stetson.

senior Rebecca Oser has carried on her family's tradition of playing soccer for the Bulls. Now she'll be playing for an education.
On Wednesday, Feb. 1, Oser was joined by her family and teammates in a conference room at Bloomingdale High to celebrate her signing of a scholarship to Stetson University, where she plans to study sports management.
"The first 10 minutes I was there I knew that was where I wanted to go," Oser said. "Once I saw the facilities they were building and the fact that it's close to the beach and Orlando was a big draw. The coach there is also one of my former coaches so it all just fit."

Oser is the third of Brad Oser's daughters to play for the Bulls but the first to play in college on a scholarship. While it's the end of the Oser years at Bloomingdale, her father is happy to see his daughter take the next step in her education through soccer.
"It feels great to see her going off to college," Brad Oser said. "Stetson is only two hours from here so I'll get to go to her games and see her play. I know the coach there and I know they have a great soccer program so I honestly couldn't be happier."
