Bloomingdale Robbery Suspect Apprehended

The suspect in the armed robbery of a Bloomingdale Mobil station was arrested today and transported to the Orient Road Jail.

Suspect Michael Greene was arrested at a residence at 3206 E. Henry Ave., in Tampa and taken into custody without incident. 

Greene has been identified as the man who walked into the Mobil 1 convenience store at 615 E. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon, March 15 at approximately 3:30 a.m. armed with a pair of scissors and physically forced the cashier into the back of the store while threatening her with the scissors. 

Greene allegedly removed an undisclosed amount of currency from the cash drawer and fled southbound on Kings Avenue riding a black mountain bike.
