The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has positively identified the body found yesterday at a Riverview office complex as that of Melissa Gail Easterling, 32, of 12432 U.S. 41 S., Gibsonton.
The victim was last seen by her family on June 19. On Saturday, June 25, her
family went to her residence to check on her welfare and, when she wasn't home, the family contacted the sheriff's office and reported her missing.
Detectives will continue looking for any evidence or witnesses who may have any knowledge that may assist in this investigation. The Hillsborough County
Medical Examiners Office has not yet ruled on a cause of death.
