Nearly 80% of people will experience severe back pain at one point in their life. Everyday millions of men and women are waking up, experiencing pain, and attempting to make it through the day. The reason why we have this amount of back pain is a topic for another day. Today, I want to discuss why chiropractic care is a leading choice of treatment.
Each year, nearly 22 million American’s visit chiropractor’s seeking relief from low back pain. This makes chiropractic care the number one conservative care choice for low back pain. Your chiropractor will take a thorough history, conduct an examination, and order any tests (x-rays, etc) to first determine the proper specific diagnosis of your condition. Upon reviewing all of this information, we are then able to make the best treatment plan possible to get you stable and out of pain. Your treatment could include such things as stretching, decompression, exercises, and/or chiropractic adjustments.
Additionally, one of the many benefits of visiting a chiropractor in the Orthopedic Total Wellness program at Florida Orthopaedic Institute, is that we are able to case conference about your treatment with our spine surgeons and specialists if you stumbling blocks appear in your road to recovery.
