Buying Local – Harder than you think

I am a strong believer in the” shop local” concept.  I go out of my way to buy from people in my community.   I stop at every produce stand I see and grab fresh fruit and vegetables for dinner.  I seek out local restaurants and shops to buy my goods.

Now why I think it is not always so easy.  I run a computer repair company located in Bloomingdale area.  I struggle to buy parts and equipment locally to service my customers.  While I am on my search for a local source of products and parts, I am buying from CompUSA so that I know that a portion of my money is going toward helping my neighbors have a job and make a living.
