Constitutional violations that you may not be aware of

Constitutional rights recently taken away by the President and Congress

"Unconstitutional".  It is a word that is used by the media, politicians, and even judges.  Most of the time, those using the term, cannot reference what part of the Constitution, that in their view, has been violated  The word is used so much, it has almost lost it's meaning.  Unconstitutional, one would think, is referring to anything that blatantly violates our Constitution.  But, the real violations of our Constitution, that have occurred, have happened at the hands of our own Government.  Let start with the 1st amendment, and H.R. 347, or the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011.  This legislation states, "Whoever knowingly enters or remains in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority to do so; knowingly, and with intent to impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of government business or official functions, engages in disorderly or disruptive conduct in, or within such proximity to, any restricted building or grounds when, or so that, such conduct, in fact, impedes or disrupts the orderly conduct of government business or official functions; knowingly, and with the intent to impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of government business or official functions, obstructs or impedes ingress or egress to or from any restricted building or grounds; or knowingly engages in any act of physical violence against any person or property in any restricted building or grounds; attempts or conspires to do so, shall be punished.”  Whether or not this was done with good intentions is unclear, but the law blows open the door to completely rob anyone of their 1st amendment rights, more specifically, freedom of speech and peaceful assembly.  This effectively shuts down freedom of speech, and assembly, in any area where a protected public official is present.  For more info, google HR 347.

Now onto the second amendment.  If there is one amendment that has kept America free for this long, it is the second amendment.    Fast and Furious is a prime example of the Government's fear of an armed citizenry.  Knowingly selling guns to Mexican drug cartels, with no intentions of tracking them, and then in the aftermath, attempting to impose strict gun regulation and use these guns as justification.  The plan failed, and backfired.  Then you have states that have very strict gun laws, New York, Illinois, Etc.  I believe in the 10th amendment, but, I do not believe that states have the right to violate the US Constitution, in order to do what they please.  States cannot take away ones rights in the name of the 10th amendment.

Now onto the 4th amendment, and an acronym that we are all familiar with, TSA.  Nuff said.

Now onto the 5th and 6th amendment, and what has been deemed the "National Defense Authorization Act".  I reference SEC. 1021. AFFIRMATION OF AUTHORITY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES TO DETAIN COVERED PERSONS PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF MILITARY FORCE.    This guts the 5th and 6th amendment and effectively suspends the writ of habeas corpus.   Let's not forget, that this bill was passed by congress after the election of 2010, with yes votes from congressman Allen West, and From Senator Marco Rubio.

And lastly, the 10th amendment, and what has happened in Arizona, Florida, or any other state that stood up to the Federal Government, and was met with legal action by the DOJ when they did.

We've had 6 of our original 10 amendments taken away from right under our noses.   60% of our Bill of Rights taken away.  Stay informed, do your own research, don't be a sheep.
