A few months ago, Florida Orthopaedic Institute moved over to an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for every patient. Soon, I will be moving from my laptop EMR to an iPAD which will allow even greater mobility and ability to interact and engage the patient with their health information. As a physician, I love the ability to have a patients full health history, treatments, x-rays, etc all at my fingertips. What are your thoughts on Electronic Medical Records? Have you been able to see the benefits in your doctors visits?
