Who Needs Your Prayers Today?

I love today's Gospel (Mk 2:1-12).

One of the things that impresses me is the friends. They carried their friend to Peter's house and then hoisted him up to the roof. They then ripped it open and lowered him down to Jesus. What faith! What loyalty! What love!

A friend recently shared that when he was in the Navy, he and his friends would "torpedo" or target a friend in trouble. They would carry him to the Lord in prayer, wrapped in a stretcher of rosaries, chaplets and novenas. They wouldn't stop their "attack" until their friend was healed.
