Breaking Back Pain News! by Dr. Jeff Langmaid Brandon, FL Chiropractor

A new research article on MedPage Today paints a startling picture of back pain management in the US today.  Primary Care Doctors increased their prescription of narcotics for back pain by over 10% between 1999-2010. Also, Harvard Medical School found that "back pain management strategies in the US are "discordant" with current guidelines." There is a better way! Current guidelines indicate chiropractic as a primary option!

Over 11% of visits to Primary Care Doctors are for spine related complaints.  Thankfully, I have great working relationships with nearly all of our local Primary Care Doctors.  However, if your Doctor has not given chiropractic care as an option for your back pain; then I encourage you to ask.  It could make it world of difference.
