BayCare Medical Group, on the campus of Riverview's St. Joseph's Hospital-South, is hosting a free event in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event is Wednesday, October 7, 5 p.m. at the BayCare Medical Group office in the St. Joseph's Hospital-South Medical Office Building, Suite 202, 6901 Simmons Loop, Riverview.
The evening will include education and conversation focused on breast health and wellness. Whether you're looking to learn more about breast health, ask questions or connect with others, this event offers everyone a welcoming and supportive environment. Enjoy refreshments while engaging in a question and answer session with Dr. Christina Layton, BayCare Medical Group breast surgeon and members of the BayCare Medical Group oncology team. You'll gain valuable information about breast health, screening recommendations, treatment options and the latest advances in care. The event is open to both men and women.
