The Alafia Republican Club will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday, September 24, at 6:30 p.m. at River Hills Country Club, located at 3943 New River Hills Pkwy, in Valrico. This is a new meeting date and new meeting location for the club. The featured speaker for the evening will be Congressman Tom Rooney, who will speak about legislation pending in Washington. Immigration, health care and other issues important to conservatives are sure to be discussed. A variety of other guest speakers will follow on local issues.
