Woman Charged With 2nd-Degree Murder In Death At Riverview Home
Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives have arrested a woman in connection to the death of a man at a home in Riverview.
RIVERVIEW, FL — Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives have arrested a woman in connection to the death of a man at a home in Riverview.
Around 8:45 a.m. Friday, deputies were called to the 9000 block of Whitebarn Way in Riverview by a woman inside the home reporting someone dead.
Deputies found a man between the age of 20 and 30 dead of upper body trauma. They have charged Melissa Turner with second-degree murder.

Due to Marsy's Law, which protects the identities of crime victims, the man's name has not been released.
The sheriff's office said the couple have lived in the home for less than a year and were the only two people inside the home at the time of the death.
