Deputies Investigating Armed Burglary, Shooting In Riverview

RIVERVIEW, FL – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed burglary at 12524 Burgess Hill Drive in the Panther Trace subdivision of Riverview.

Just after midnight, two armed men burst into the home and exchanged gunfire with the occupants.

There are no known injuries and the shooters fled the scene.

Deputies say the shooting appears to be drug- related.
