Deputies Route Traffic Around Accident On FishHawk Boulevard

LITHIA, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue are requesting that FishHawk resident avoid FishHawk Boulevard and Osprey Ridge Drive while officials continue working on the scene of a natural gas spill.

A dump truck was involved in an accident at the intersection this morning, Monday, Feb. 26, and is leaking natural gas.

All westbound lanes and one eastbound lane of Fishhawk Boulevard are open. Deputies are routing traffic around the accident but say the gas leak is not dangerous.
