Deputies Search For Suspect In Riverview Bank Robbery: Sheriff
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a suspect who robbed Fifth Third Bank in Riverview.
BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred in Riverview on Wednesday at 1:42 p.m., authorities said.
A suspect handed a teller at Fifth Third Bank, 13304 U.S. Highway 301 South, a note that said he had a weapon and demanded cash, deputies said.
The teller provided an undisclosed amount of money, investigators said.

The suspect left the bank with the note in his hand and ran in an unknown direction, detectives said.
The teller told deputies a weapon was not seen on the suspect, police said.

"Thankfully, nobody was injured during the course of this incident," Sheriff Chad Chronister said."Weapon or not, this individual not only stole money from the bank, but he also instilled fear into the lives of employees there. I'm urging anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious this afternoon to call us immediately."
Deputies are searching for a medium complexion male, who is about 5-feet-10 and weighs between 190 to 210 pounds.
