Detectives Seek Good Samaritan

The man rendered assistance to a homicide victim and then left the scene before sheriff's deputies could get his name.

Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office would like to talk to an individual who stopped and rendered aid to Sean Michael Buchanan who was murdered on May 30 in the parking lot of the Regency AMC Movie Theater.

On May 30 at 10:40 p.m., a woman called 911 reporting she had found the victim in what appeared to be a car crash. While waiting for emergency responders, the 911 caller flagged down a white male driving a white pickup
truck and asked the man to help her with the victim.

The man in the truck stopped and stated he was an EMT/Paramedic trainee and
would try to help the victim. The man then went inside the vehicle and tried to help the dying victim before he was transferred to Tampa General Hospital
where he died. This man then left when paramedics and deputies arrived and did not leave his name or any contact information.
