Lithia Pinecrest Road Traffic Halted by Downed Power Lines
Traffic is stopped in both directions on Lithia Pinecrest at George Smith Road in Lithia after a flatbed truck hit a power pole Tuesday morning, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports.
An accident Tuesday morning has downed power lines and closed traffic in both directions on Lithia Pinecrest Road in Lithia, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
A large flatbed truck struck a power pole around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at George Smith Road and Lithia Pinecrest Road, the sheriff's office reports.
"Traffic is shut down in both directions on Lithia Pinecrest until the power lines can be repaired," spokesperson Debbie Carter wrote in a media release.

The driver of the truck is not injured, according to the release, and deputies are on the scene.
