Sheriff Says Critically Injured Dunedin Woman Is Pregnant
Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives are investigating a home invasion in Dunedin in which an 18-year-old pregnant woman was shot.

DUNEDIN, FL – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives have confirmed that the 18-year-old Dunedin woman who was shot and critically injured Wednesday, July 18, is about 20 weeks pregnant.
Just after 1 p.m., a man walked into an unlocked home in the 1100 block of New York Avenue, rented by 18-year-old Naomi Rosado and her live-in boyfriend, 19-year-old Charles Tenpenny, who were home at the time.
The man, dressed all in black and armed with a handgun, then shot Rosado and fled.

Deputies from the K9 and flight units searched for the shooter but were unable to find him.
Rosado was taken to a trauma center where she remains in intensive care. The condition of her baby is unknown.
