Missing Riverview Man Found In Orlando

The 81-year-old from Riverview hasn't been seen since Sunday.

Update: The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reported just before 5 p.m. Monday that Claude Hester had been found in Orlando and is safe.

RIVERVIEW, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking Tampa Bay area residents to keep an eye out for a missing Riverview man.

According to the agency, Claude Edward Hester, 81, left his home on Rhodine Road around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Hester is believed to have been at the 10150 Bloomingdale Ave. Target around 1:30 p.m., but hasn’t been spotted since.

Hester is described as standing 6 feet in height and weighs an estimated 260 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt, blue baseball cap, jeans and gray-and-white sneakers. He was driving a 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan that is gold in color. Its Florida tag number is 911WTH, the agency wrote in an email to media.
