As Health 2.0 continues to move forward the questions about email/video chat with your doctor will become more common. Email consultations, fees for "digital" services/appointments, patient portals, etc will all be coming to your doctors office soon. My belief is that easily facilitated communication between doctor and patient will increase overall health and wellness. However, the time and payment for these services is going to be up for great debate.
