Auditions for the annual Brandon Idol Teen contest will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 10 a.m. to noon, and Thursday, Aug. 16 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Brandon Family YMCA, 3097 S Kingsway Rd., Seffner.

There are two categores: juniors ages 10 to 12 and seniors ages 14 to 17.

Auditions are free but, if selected to participate in the finals, the entry fee is $25 and includes one adult ticket to the show.
The show takes place Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. at the Brandon Elks Lodge, 800 Centennial Lodge Dr., Brandon.
