A four-week prepared childbirth course meets each Monday from Jan. 3 through Jan. 24 in the Oakfield Medical Plaza, Classroom B, Suite 260, directly across the street from the Brandon Regional Hospital Women's Center. It covers the signs and stages of labor, breathing and relaxation skills for labor and birth, the importance of the labor coach, and medical interventions including C-sections. Please bring a blanket and pillow each evening to class. One adult coach (main support person) is also encouraged to attend. The course is free but registration is required.
