Hillsborough County Animal Services will host Pet-Friendly Shelter Training and Volunteer Recruitment Saturday, Sept. 29 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the county shelter, 440 N. Falkenburg Rd., Tampa.
The training is for anyone interested in serving at a pet shelter during and after a disaster. Those attending should be at least 18, able-bodied, wear comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes.
