Facilitated by Girls With Confidence, the focus of this program is to increase girls confidence in themselves and improve on their self-esteem. We discuss the pros/cons to being a girl with an emphasis on the positives of being a girl. The topics we talk about mainly depend on the group and where they have the most questions or issues- such as friendships, appearances, body image, puberty or health/body related questions. The program meets for two hours once a week for four weeks. All Girls Circle programs follow a specific format that involves group discussions, individual reflection & writing exercises along with a creative activity.
