St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico, will host a workshop for grandparents who have become guardians or caregivers of a grandchild Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. in the upstairs classrooms. Dr. Karen Unger, family and child/adolescent psychotherapist, will lead the discussion. Each month St. Stephen will have a presentation in an area that will be helpful for grandparents who sometimes lack information about various support services, resources and benefits that may assist them in fulfilling their roles as caregivers.
