Men's Retreat

The Bell Shoals Church of Christ in Brandon will be holding its annual Men’s Retreat over the weekend of Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4. The retreat will be held at Florida Bible Camp in High Springs.

Brother Samuel Pounds from the Hilltop Church of Christ in Winter Haven and the speaker from last year will return and share lessons from Romans 12:2 on the topic of how Christian men are today’s “Counter Culture." The Bell Shoals Men’s Retreat has become a much-anticipated event with 70-plus men attending on average each year.

During the retreat, there is planned time, not only for Bible study and prayer, but also for golf and bowling for those that want to participate. Saturday night is concluded after crowning the Champion of the Indoor Golf Tournament.

In conjunction with the Men’s Retreat, Brother Pounds will also conduct a gospel meeting at the Bell Shoals Church of Christ, l2908 Bell Shoals Rd. The gospel meeting will begin Sunday night, March 4 at 6 p.m. and run through Tuesday night, March 6. The Monday and Tuesday meetings will begin at 7p.m. Brother Pounds will be completing the retreat topic, “Counter Culture,” during this time with the entire congregation. Refreshments will be served each night.
